  • About me

I'm Hina - my photo-journalistic style captures moments unique to you, images to delight you. I create natural images with creative flair in your chosen surroundings to document your day. Capturing your laughter, your embraces and the ambiance to provide you with memories for life. Memories to pass on to your children and their children. My passion for photography began as a teenager, I bought my first second hand professional camera and a lens. I'd saved Saturday job money for a whole year but still didn't quite have enough for a flash gun to add to the kit, in hindsight - this was a blessing. Not having a flash forced me to learn how to shoot with the light available and to use my eyes in a different way. I learned how to see and capture stories through visual art. I loved studying the way people connect with each other even at that young age. My unique interpretation of your wedding day, my artistic style and composition reflects the happiest day of your life. I am a trained, educated and a qualified professional full time Wedding Photojounalist with active memberships in Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) and British Professional Photographers Associates (BPPA).

Baby Kaiym’s first shoot

Little sweetie Kaiym was such a pleasure to shoot.  He belongs to Fahrah and Aleem – whom I had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful wedding a few years ago. Kaiym is 7 months, he’s a giggler and loves eating his fingers – mmmm yum nice bit of steak!

Avni & Yagnesh

This lovely couple had their winter wedding on a bright blue day in December at The Shennai Suite in Berkshire. As always it was a pleasure working with my talented videography friend Amit from Kat Films. Avni and Yagnesh, thank you for choosing us to share your perfect day – we had a great time with you both.  I hope you like the black and whites….

Kinnari & Kavit

A beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple, they even got serenaded by the Groom’s talented young brother in their first dance! Their perfect day was at The Copthorne Effingham Park. It was full of smiles and emotions, Maharaj Rajubhai Pandya conducted the ceremony in his usual flawless style, the lovely ladies from Sonalita’s did a good job planning the wedding, and of course there was amazing decor and elegance by the Mistique Events team, always a pleasure working with you all. Congratulations to Kinnari and Kavit, thank you for inviting us to photograph your lovely day. Here’s some of my favs….

Keshma & Mark

Lovely Keshma and Mark had their Hindu Ceremony and Reception at Orsett Hall in Essex.  Despite it pouring down all day, we had a fantastic time with the couple and their families – it was completely effortless, we couldn’t have felt more at home.  There was love and laughter – just the right combination for a perfect day.  It was nice to see fabulous make up artist – Jawaad again, working his magic and transforming Keshma.  Talented DJ H from Ritzy is always full of laughs, he had the dance floor rocking all night.  To K&M and my beautiful ladies (you know who you are) thank you for your generosity, hospitality and letting me be part of your gang! Here are a few of my favs from your day…

Binda & Vinit

Last event for this slightly crazy and adorable couple! Sad to leave them. They were such a pleasure to be around, effortless and full of smiles.  The wedding reception was held at The Millennium Hotel in Kensington. The party was packed with entertainment from a fabulous jazz band, Jazzbomb and a very talented young musician Shyam of Shyam’s Magic. Delicious cuisine was from the one and only Ragamama, with the lovely Shirley organising an impeccable reception party. Binda and Vinit, a special thank you for having us photograph your amazing events and making us smile while we work!
